Instrumentation
An instrument is a tool or device that is used to accomplish a task or do work. With this simple definition almost everything can pass as an instrument. Instruments are thus used in every field of endeavor to get work done faster and easier. Instrumentation would thus mean different things in relation to different fields or disciplines.
The advance of technology has led to improvement of instrumentation as it relates to different disciplines of study. A lot can now be accomplished with improved standards of instrumentation and instruments now available. In almost all fields there have been giant like leaps due to better research and breakthroughs. There are many high quality manufacturers of process instrumentation that cover a wide rage of controls and measurements that are absolutely essential to any type of industry. Being able to measure a certain area and determine the accurate range of something in order to make a precise plan can only be done with high quality instrumentation. Magnetic instrumentation is made up of many different testing devices and we are going to look at a few that are more common and in use today. One of the magnetic instrumentation among most used items is a magnetometer. These measure the strength of a magnetic field in a single vector direction.
These are very important if you want to measure the strength of a magnetic field in a certain direction. You need to select the right kind of instrumentation to use in your business and hence you can select the best option available for your business. The best options available are there for your taking and u just need to take them into your hands
In the field of medicine, improved instrumentation can make precise surgical operations possible which has saved a lot of lives and provided relief for a lot of ailment that was not considered curable in the past. This effects of technology and improved instrumentation standards cut across all field not just medicine alone. Each field would probably have a different adaptation of definition of the word instrumentation.
Instrumentation is an electric device that can be used to measure and control the capabilities of a system. A simple example and form of instrumentation is a thermostat which is quite similar to a resistor. The difference of a thermostat from a resistor is resistance which is dependant on its temperature. The device can thus be used to measure temperature in a field.
Control instrumentation would include those devices used to control or change the parameters of a field. They are also support remote control functions.
